♥ Melaka Trip ♥

yay,its like finally i can update my blog!
i found out that the reason i cant use my blog is because of my stupid brother!
he block me from using it! evil him!
so there're plenty of blog post that i need to update now.
but who cares, i have plenty time now.
3 weeks sem break must not be wasted, right? hehe.

a few weeks ago before my final kick start, classmates suggest to try out the typical chicken rice ball at malacca. so...here we go!

tehee..it was a one day trip and i can swear that i wont try it next time coz its really tiring :'(

and malacca is really a damn hot place.

so if you all really wanna visit there..

sun-tend lotion,umbrella,cap is a must to protect you for the sun..

we reach there quite early..so we went to the AEON bandaar melacca to have our breakie first.

 this restaurant caught our eyes.

and the food here is all on a hot rock.

for me its just a so-so...and its quite costly.

at noon, we manage to drop by the famous jonker street

a shop that have a big chicken rice ball sign caught our attention.so we decided to dine there.

but it was a big mistake.

the food was not so tasty as we thought plus it was kinda expensive.

this time, we found a nice place to have our brunch!

the ambience was awsome for me that like those antiques decorate.

 out of suprise, the food was much more cheaper than the previous shop.

 the restaurant also provided emperior sits and costumes for customer to take picture..

even MY ASTRO team also came here to shoot the cny music video...tehee..

Hihi, here comes my short update :) Recently I have no motivation to update my blog. Because of last few week Im working, then I went for a few trip, plus now final is around the corner... hubby come down kl on 4th november.
due to the opening of the japan apparel shop UNIQLO.

this few days together with him we din actually take much photos.
but still..
im enjoying these few days with him.
its our private time together  ♥

♥午后。FULLHOUSE ♥

after the class on tuesday,
me and the two fellow...
decided to dine at FULLHOUSE to past our boring evening
its the second time i went here...

The whole place has a cute-sy and adorable feel to it that is hard to resist.it surround by white wooden furniture with white lace curtains.

Downstairs is the dining area, the kitchen and an area where they display furniture items and knick knacks.

Upstairs (do check out the adorable pictures of the characters of fullhouse on the landing) is a small boutique, a dining room for a larger crowd and a balcony area where you can sit outside at night.

You select your food from a menu, which is laid out like a magazine complete with news on the boutique, which Hong Kong celebrity is visiting them and etc. The set lunches seem to be the draw of the crowd here. Each character in Fullhouse has a favourite set meal (pasta, fish, chicken and etc)

and I decided to go for my favourite meal: wok seared chicken chop with black pepper raisin jus ♥

The set meal arrives at lightning speed

(as a quick peek at their kitchen reveal a lot of items are prepped ahead).

My chicken chop was juicy and I did like the fluffy mash potatoes and raisin sauce served with it!!! its really as good as the price! high recommended ♥

While mains were fine, dessert in a form of an artificial tasting sponge cake with even more cardboard tasting frosting was just an oh oh oh kay for me.. *dissapointed*

okay food done. so whats next?

♥ Sushi Ice-Cream ♥

A week before,i saw one of my friends blog, and she was blogging about the new haagen-daaz ice cream called "sushi platter". i was so amaze by its shape as it looks so real as no one can defer it between ice cream or sushi. so i keep nagging hubby to bring me eat
finally! we were THERE!

And here comes the highlight of the evening !!

the Sushi Platter, made up of 4 pieces of pretty and delectable ice-cream sushi.

When the platter was served, OMG, were we blown away.... it looked so real. @@
ntonly the sushi (or rather ice-cream) looked so real, it even has a small scoop of green tea ice-cream representing 'wasabi' which is a must-have as part of any sushi platter. 

In this Sushi Platter, 2 of the sushi use vanilla ice-cream as the base, and 2 use macadamia nut ice-cream. (macadamia nuts is my favourite) =D
This is because the solidity of this 2 flavours that made them most suitable to be used as the base. Well, can't imagine how many rounds of experiment would have taken place before finally coming out with this.

Though all 4 - Mango & Passion Fruit Sushi, Strawberry Gunkan, Kiwi Gunkan an Mango Sorbet Sushi tasted good, I especially loved the Mango Sorbet Sushi. Ought to be the due to the extra effort required to intersperse between the Mango Sorbet and vanilla ice-cream that made the salmon looking ice-cream possible.
To emulate the sushi look, chocolate was used to wrap around the sushi - representing seaweed.
