Souled out~

On Friday's night, bunch of us head out for a fairwell dinner because our dear yvonne have to fly to aussie for futher studies. The organiser, yvonne decided to have our dinner at a famous joint in Desa Sri Hartamas , Souled Out.
Always wondered the meaning behind the name of the place , is it where you gain back your soul during the weekend? Or you will forget your soul because the place is too awesome?Or are they trying to imply they have "sold out" meaning the food is way too awesome to have any leftovers, just wondering.....

SOULed Out
Here comes the dishes..
SAKE SAN ( 8 INCH RM25)
Is a thin crust pizza topped with salmon silvers, lollo rosso, ebiko, wasabi, mayonnaise, cherry tomatoes.
Quite confuse about the taste. it feels like eating sushi without rice =s
btw, I liked how the mild wasabi and mayonnaise complemented the salmon slivers.
  SPAGHETTI CARBONARA  (RM20)
was sinfully rich with bacon and garlic cream sauce.
the sauce was really good *recommanded*

 B-B-Q CHICKEN PIZZA (8 INCH RM19)
Comes with marrinated chicken, corn, bbq sauce, pepper and tomato salsa.
and here comes mine...
CHICKEN GORDON "BLUR"  (RM23)
is a boneless chicken leg wrapped with ham, cheddar cheese and sausage with cold mayo
vege and fries. To be honest the taste is really so-so. not understand why they put "Lip smacking" logo on the menu. hmmm...
CLASSIC HOME MADE BEEF BURGER (RM18)
Home made beef patty with lettuce and cheddar chesse served with fries.
and drinks most of us order fruit coktail juice that cost around RM8-RM13 =)
  then, its camwhore time =D
me with yvonne, our organiser, hope u"ll get flying colours in your exam and
have a good life in aussie ^^

A few days ago, a friend of mine commented me and say im a food review expert, because he saw all my post is all about FOOD. Actually, im NOT lah duh, i just love food like any teenagers out there and i wish to share my food experience to my readers only. wink :)

This few months i have some fantastic days with my classmates, family and especially my bf. He moved to kl because of me. He even moved to the place that is so near with my house. how sweet....
But Sometimes, i really felt sorry for him because i always argue with him and make him feel kl is unsecured. But, still he dont like to hear my opinion that ends up with arguement. Hope he will change it.and i will promise you to be your good good girlfriend okay?

About my college life? well, im doing really fine in my forth semester, hopefully i can get a better result in the next sem. Other than that? my classmate? well they are quite fine too.

Mother's day

Ben’s KLCC was launched April 15th 2011 and is located on First Floor of KLCC, the same spot where California Pizza Kitchen used to be.

This isn't a cookie-cutter cafe ,it shares the same menu with Ben's original outlet at Pavilion, but manages to look different enough to feel like a unique restaurant in its own right.

The menu concentrates on international cuisine, ranging from refreshing appetisers and yummy salads to hearty East and West main courses, delicious snacks and luscious desserts.

The Manhattan townhouse concept
The design overall is very clean, with dark muted tones. The seats by the window are usually taken up quickly as it gives the best view of the park and fountain outside. Intrestingly, they have few different sides and sits for customers that prefer different experience and comfort.
Me and my beloved mummy were in black. Thanks for your caring and pampering during this 20 years ILY =*

Here comes the order
BEEF CHEESEBURGER  RM23.90
The beef patty was juicy and tender. Fries was normal, salad was crunchy and the bread was marvellous.specially like the grilled butter bread with mayo, fresh lettuce and crunchy sesame.
 MACARONI AND CHEESE  RM20.90
The cream and cheedar cheese was very very thick and cheesy. definitely taste great for cheese lover.
and my  FISHERMAN CATCH  RM21.90
regret to order this. the fish fillet was so unfresh and even taste like mud.FML so i just throw aside the dory fish and eat all the side dishes. As i mention above the bread and the salad was great! =)
Mum's  RED DUCK CURRY RICE  RM21.90
have a spoon of these and i found out the duck was unfresh. but the gravy was great, a bit sweet .the rice and keropok.hmm...normal...
 APPLE CRUMBLE   RM11.90
Finally, orderd apple pie as dessert. for me, the hot & cold sensation rolling on the tongue was just NOT so heavenly. An ok for me.
Drinks we ordered fruit juice which cost RM10.90 each. The final bills comes to RM170++.

Bangkok part 2 ( gain weight trip )

our day two and three is more about walking and shop around. i like the culture, the food and the people there. just a thing that i dislike, the weather! im feeling so sticky all the time =/

                                                                the souvenier street

The Chao Phraya River tourist boat takes visitors on a cruise circuit of nine piers for a sightseeing tour of the historical sites in old Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River.

straw hat is needed to block the heavy sunlight. spot me and my mum.
( she looks so thai =p )

Something good for strawberry lovers! the strawberry here is very cheap! just rm5 and you can have all these lovely juicy berries o.o

Just an advise, i must say that visitors should beware of the sellers here near the temple. They will pretended like giving visitors free food to feed the birds. but when u're planning to leave, they will charges u a bomb! just like what my dad did, they charges us rm30 for a few packs of bird foods >.<

Wat Arun – the Temple of Dawn
the temple looks so nice with the blue sky. feels like im in angkor wat =)

Locals here provided renting costumes service for visitors. So. why not having a try? it cost me rm20 to put this costume on. According to the local, this costumes only can be worn by royalties in the past 100 years. So,am i lucky? and to be honest, the head accessories that i wore is super duper heavy,i cant even balance my posture. there goes my fake smile.......

after the temple, we went to have some walk. Everywhere we walks
we saw stalls selling tempting food. just like these food, it taste like otak-otak. yummeh!
and we started to miss chinese food, so here we go. Dine at the chinese restaurant at chinatown. Seriously. its not that cheap. The final bill was like hundreds, but to be honest. the food here is worth for the price!
Another thing that is great about bangkok, even a cheap lousy mall, they decorate it until it looks like disneyland. malaysia's pavillion is totally lose =S
And the FOREVER 21 in bangkok looks like this XXI. haha so cute!
Bought myself a collagen drink from the convenient store. *so pinkish me like*
DAY 3 begins with a full set of english breakfast at the hotel. Waffles and scramble egg are heaven =D

that we went to the famous KHAO SAN ROAD day market to see wheather we can get anything from there. There goes the food........

These things are called sweet rice crackers. SUPER SUPER DAMN YUMMY for those who like sweet things. we grab 3 packets of it and it cost us 200 BHAT (rm20)
Another type of rice crackers
SEE! so many variety of sweety snacks and its very clean too *cant resist*
This is a local tea time set. Pandan bread dip with sweet condesed milk. A simple but nice combination.

Here goes the night market at KHAO SAN ROAD....

The legend fry insects
And the dry cuttle fish stall that only can be found in bangkok. The a-pek was super humerous. He can be so enjoy and wore a chef cap even he is at roadside selling cuttle fish.

A-pek use newspaper to replace plastic bag to put in his cuttle fish o.o

And there goes my trip in bangkok. im definately coming back again =)

Bangkok~

have wanted to blog about my bangkok trip since long time ago..well, here we go..=)

DAY 1 (just walk around)

reached bkk airport at noon. honestly, bkk airport is much more better than malaysia one. =X

and one thing i think about bkk was their taxi....in striking colour! hehe
camwhored in the taxi. btw i have red watery eyes due to my flu. =(
we lived somewhere near the famous khao san road. the rate was like rm200+ per day.bt the place was not as nice as we thought *dissapointed*
first thing after we drop our bagpack was find something to eat. then a shop opposite our hotel catched our attention.we saw so many ppl queuing up for the food. so we have our try. this was my fav sour  n spicy salad! tempting!
and this was a must on everyone's table. the taste was like normal pork balls aka (猪肉丸)
and this was the boom! the aroma was superb...just imagine i can smell it opposite our hotel.but to be honest, the taste was not as good as the aroma. it taste just simply like our malaysia vege beehon aka (清汤米粉)
after eating, we walk around. and we saw this portugis fort
and there are some river nearby. this bridge makes me think about penang bridge.i miss penang x.x

i love BKK. everywhere is so colourful even their bike. it looks like barbie doll bike! @.@
                                                                     night finally arrived.
we dine at their autentic night market.
had bkk famous mango sticky rice! yummy =3=

alots of tourist drinking thailand beer at the nearest bar. suddenly im craving for it, so daddy bought me one to drink while enjoying the night view.

AHH! my favourite pork satay! look at the price, it just 4BHAT that means rm0.40 one! so cheap, decided to grab 40 sticks =D
back to hotel, its drink session =D
thats the best combination! pork stick with chang beer <3
thats how my day 1 ends.
stay tuned for day 2. xoxo
